It comes and goes with me. Often nothing, sometimes a few days of tinnitus, and the occasional bad day. It's never maddening, but it can be distracting. I recently discovered something called Brown Noise, which I've heard can help (it's mostly used for relaxation or concentration, I believe) and some say this can help. It's like a more listenable White Noise, There's hours of it on YouTube if you do a quick search.
