Edradour 10 y.o. is my favourite with Laphroaig 10 coming in second. I'm also very much looking forward to trying the whisky from the Eden Distillery in St. Andrews when it is eventually released (a few years to wait sadly).
A recent discovery based on positive press coverage is the Aldi Islay single malt. Very, VERY drinkable.
I usually have a bottle of Famous grouse in my decanter for the times I just want to taste whisky rather than do the complex nosing/tasting.
