Scratched bezel on steel Nautilus question

I just noticed that I have a VERY small scratch in the flat part (top) of the bezel on my Nautilus 5712A (but the scratch goes across the grain of the metal so it is noticeable to the naked eye if the watch is fingerprint-free and catches the light in a certain way (and not otherwise). I've had the watch for 7 months. Two questions:

1) Should I be thrilled that I only have one VERY small scratch after 7 months, or dismayed that it is scratched at all?

2) When I have it serviced down the road, should I ask that they polish it, or not touch it?

p.s. I wear the watch about 4-6 days a week so I am sure there will be other scratches at some point down the line...
