I heard a tale that an AD in my area is no longer a Rolex dealer because of exactly this. I called them to make a repair and they said Rolex had too many demands on them. They said Rolex demanded they build something in their store and they said that was the last straw. A few months later someone told me Rolex gave them the boot because someone was buying the hot models and flipping them.
