Well their case diameter is between 37 mm and 39 mm.
And again in the 1970s when Genta launched the SS dress / sporty watches, designed the Royal Oak with 39 mm case and the Nautilus with 40 mm case.

Size is a tricky matter. Any simple 37-39mm dress watch with a narrow bezel and mostly empty dial wears large on my 6.6 inch flat wrists (including 5196 and 5227 Calatravas and the Saxonia Thin). The 40mm 5711 however works just fine as it wears small given its wide bezel and a little 34mm 3998 Calatrava works well too on my smallish wrists (better than most 37-39mm dress watches).
