Many thanks and yes I'm pretty handy around battery changes and have the tools... Its got to be worth a DIY rather than £500 on 3 new batteries...

You're very welcome. The only 2 things that come to mind while looking at the pictures are: be really careful with the rubber seals since they're pretty thin, and when putting the case back on with the 4 screws ensure the seal is properly aligned for the screw openings.
