Good news for folks with the troubled GMT, although I suspect Rolex would have been good about fixing those regardless.

In fact, before the Rolex warranties were lengthened a few years ago, it was pretty common to hear about Rolex fixing genuine defects even out of warranty. In that sense, the extended warranty doesn't really mean very much. But, the certainty is nice.
