i am not fussed about wearing my Rolex or other watches to the beach, more from fear of losing them etc, Rarely is time critical when I am at a beach (and I would have a phone with me), if I dived and I don't then I would have no issue wearing a Sub, all be it modern dive gear would make it redundant. I am always intrigued by how many members wear their watch in the shower. Surely a part purpose of showering is to clean of the days grime that builds under a watch.
