I've been wanting to check out a Weiss watch for a long time now, and I was fortunate enough to purchase this watch from a very kind watch collector (thanks Mike) who kept it in excellent condition. Weiss has been on my radar because of the fact that a lot of the components that go into this watch are made in the United States, and in-house by the founder Cameron Weiss. This watch is from their Standard Issue line, which does not have an in-house movement, but is still a very impressive watch for the money. I often see this watch get mentioned in two contexts - (1) as a watch with a lot of American Made components and (2) Cameron Weiss' watchmaking education, and ties to Audemars Piguet and Vacheron Constantin. But what about the watch itself? Let's take a look...
