Won't happen in steel. The steel speedmaster will get the updated 3861 from the 50th anniversary but not the 321 IMO.

This "new" 321 reference is being produced in small numbers at a new facility I believe. Platinum enables Omega to bump up the price and work on greater margin rather than pumping out higher volume. Expect these to be in PM for some time if not indefinitely.
