I don't believe this platinum 321 Speedmaster has anything to do with the 50th anniversary, and it is not a limited edition. It is a limited production which means Omega is free to make as many as they get orders for, which will probably be low because of the price.

My understanding is there will be a stainless steel Speedmaster with the 321 but in what form is open to speculation. Also, the SS 321 will probably cost considerably more than the typical SS Speedmaster. I am guessing $12k-$15k because of the limited production of the 321 movement.

All of this information, except for the prices, was presented at a gathering hosted by the president(?) of Omega as reported by Robert-Jan at Fratello. It was also stated at that time that the 321 would not be in the 50th Anniversary Speedmaster, which turned out to be true.
