People on the forums actually surprised these things happen? A lot of ADs out there do some sort of bundling tactic to non-familiar customers and frankly even well-known clients.
If you don't like the deal, simply don't buy from them. You have to remember they are not a charity or non-profit. They are a business; whatever the AD believes would maximise their profits (whether you agree or not), they have to explore it especially when they only get a minimal amount of SS professional watches. You shop for the best deal; they sell to maximise profit.
As for the deal itself, if you wanted the GMT as well, why not. Or if you can relinquish either piece to better net your overall cost, why not as well. Just see what math works best for you.
