The more people I meet, the more I love my dogs...
Here's a few pix of my guys, at play in the water. The fox red lab (big smile in the second shot) is a great duck dog, and lives to retrieve on the hunt. I do not hunt, but he was a grand champion before retiring and taking the good life at our place....In the first shot, he's even smiling as he leaps. I should take some lessons in being more carefree from the likes of him.
As I heard said:
"If you can wake up cheerfully, without caffeine, if you relax and sleep without alcohol or chemical aid, if you can take criticism without holding a grudge, if you can love your poor relatives as much as your rich ones, if you can eat the same thing every day and be greatful, then maybe, just maybe, you can be as good as my dog."
