They stated that the watch needed a complete service after reviewing it but did not specify if it was due to the crown stem issue or just because of time/usage... I’ll send them an email to confirm this.
Complete service includes:
“A complete maintenance service includes the disassembly of the watch, cleaning all components, replacing any components that don’t meet specifications, re-assembly and quality control testing.
The following parts are always replaced – gaskets and crowns.”
