The laughable thing for me here, is many (most?) wouldn’t bat an eyelid at the similarly priced Platinum Daytona (of which Rolex make a damn sight more than just 20 of, each year), but will raise all sorts of objections as to why a Grand Seiko has no right to occupy the same market segment.
It truly would be comedic, if it wasn’t such as sad indictment of everything wrong with brand snobbery!
Arnaud, when it comes to exclusivity, what number do you consider that to be?
Are you of the opinion that 20 pieces produced annually is mass production?
