Perfectly said!
As for your current situation, I feel for you. I hit it off very well with an SA that ended up not being my SA. My actual SA and I have been friendly, she's allocated me a couple of nice pieces, but I did find it very difficult to connect and chat with her. We didn't share many interests and talking felt like a chore, but with the other SA, we couldn't stop talking unless the phone rang or another client came in.
Luckily, I met a good friend of the brand so I'm in the midst of transitioning boutiques and SAs so I won't have to deal with them anymore. If not for that, I'd probably fly to the next nearest boutique and ask to start a relationship. (Assuming it is not a joint venture boutique!).
Perhaps you should give your SA a second chance or change your approach? If that doesn't work, maybe talk with the boutique manager about it?
I hope it works out, and you can get an AP for yourself. Best of luck!
