That is a beautiful watch! I felt a little jealous at first, comparing it to the 45 years old 1016 on my wrist. But then, I remembered how I got the nicks and scars on mine- the scratches from the branches in the Amazon jungle when a tour went badly awry (the trick of using a watch to orient north? Remember to flip it south of the equator), the crystal scratches when I had to put it into a poker ante in a game for my brother's life (mixed up with some bad "oligarchs") in Ekaterinburg, the weathering from a trying summer in the Punjab on assignment for "the company" (good news is that a proper servicing will get all Stains and smells removed)...welcome to the life of an explorer! I hope yours serves you as well as we fellow explorers have been served by ours!
