Will be resolved no worries.
Every chrono I've ever owned (AP or any brand), it's the first thing I checkout. Start/stop/reset/start/stop/start...well you get the gig. Don't know why but I always do.
Never had issues with AP's (well a few ran slow or fast).
Thankfully you have plenty of others to keep you company. Let us know what they say when returned.
