Dial / Crystal / Crown: Beautiful gold Omega signed dial. Raised hour markers and Omega symbol. Mineral crystal. Omega signed crown.

Movement: Omega cal. 1011 automatic chronometer, 23 jewel

Case: Unpolished stainless steel case displays sharp beveled edges. Bezel is 18 carat gold. Watch measures 38mm x 42mm. Well defined observatory on caseback.

Bracelet: Omega signed bracelet showing minimal stretch. The clasp is stamped Omega 1378.388 Stainless Steel, 32.

Accessories: None

Condition: This early 1970’s Omega Constellation is in good vintage condition. Signs of wear (scuffs, light scratches, minor indentations) can be seen on the case, case back (and screws) and bracelet clasp. The brushed/textured finish on the case and bracelet is strong. It’s likely that the case has never been polished. The dial is a standout and is excellent condition. The watch is currently keeping very good time although its service history is unknown.

Notes: This is not your typical Constellation so it’s a rarity to see one in the wild. Conceptually it’s a perfect example of Omega’s early 70’s design aesthetic: Go big, go bold but remain resolutely classy at the same time.
