true enough, but I guess I've gotten so paranoid I am wondering if this can even happen to the best of dealers ? my local AD actually told me of a story where a client of theirs (yes full disclosure on their part) was bringing a PP in for tune-ups for years, but when it went to the service center it was discovered to be a fake.
meaning what ? we can only buy new watches otherwise we take a huge risk every time we buy a watch ? i am glad i only have a few more itches to scratch, and that those will definitely be bought new. don't feel i have the stomach for navigating the gray market.
