I agree. But then I'm a jubilee fan and most older affordable GMTs are on oyster.
It's only the jubilee which makes the new one remotely attractive. I dislike the large font, the bezel colours, the £1,000 cost of bezel replacement when it chips/cracks, the non-interchangeability of the insert.
But... folks like fighting to be the first in town to have something rare, whatever it is.
