I live in a city with a 1 AD, family owned. No history with them, went in over 3 years ago and asked for info and narrowed it down to Batman. They advised not available, and not taking names for the list. Told them I would like to stop in every month or 2, to stay updated on the state of Rolex, and always look at Breitlings as I have one and enjoy them. After about the third visit, I think they realized I was a local person and not a flipper, they advised I could go on the list but would be about 2-3 years. I thanked them, stayed in touch, did buy my wife a necklace for her birthday about a year into the wait, nothing crazy expensive. Very close to the 3 year mark I got the call and couldn’t be happier. Yes was a long wait, but I enjoyed it, was patient, and the suspense of she and if I would get the call was fun and stressful lol. I can now say i truly have a friendship now with the store, and sa. Once I figure out how to post pic as a newbie I will.
