FWIW, mine has a bit of stretch to the bracelet, but it's a younger version at only 32 years old ;) I'm not exactly sure how to measure it but occasionally I'll hold it up to compare to some photos I see and while there's obviously some sag, it's not too bad overall.
Other than it having been sent in for a service once in it's lifetime, I can't recall a period when it wasn't on my wrist since I bought it new...and like the OP I wear it on the tighter side vs. loose.
