OP, thank you for your authentic description, I'm an average guy like you. In fact, I've gone with a long series of very similar DJs..
My advice would be: keep your 114060, sell the others, try on a 5-digit or 6-digit Sub date and go for a second Sub. Date, Kermit, Bluesy or even a 5-digit Sub (only time) ... and a Seiko beater for dangerous travels or tougher manual works. I believe this would be your best solution.
