Post this in the vintage section and look for a response from Springer. He and a couple others are experts. 24 hand looks repaired. Minute hand looks repaired or stabilized but it’s not a good job, imo. You can find a better example. Things like that would bother me. And I’d end up changing hands, and there goes $2500, if you can find a proper, original set. Or you’d have to have the hands “colored” to match the dial. Again, more $$. Get one that does not need work. I speak from experience (unless you are comfortable working on it yourself).

I am a GMT nut. I love them. I owned a Long E, and other 1675’s. I restored a year 1968, 2 years ago. It was some work; and hard to find parts.

If I were a pilot (and I did grow up flying a 182) I’d want a GMT. Take your time. Don’t rush. Happy hunting. [emoji106][emoji106]
