FC is probably my favourite AP material, but I'm not that into this model. And FC as a bezel material is not the best at it tends to chip and flake. Most likely the reason that other FC models had Ceramic bezels such as the Bumblebee and FC Diver.
For your first piece I'd go with something more "mainstream".
