It is hard to say what happened to Monards Melbourne for sure, but the rumours are:
1. Monards were offering too good a deals, and the other authorised dealers complained, Monards was doing such good business the other AD's were getting hammered by customers saying "why can't you do it at the same price as Monards?
2. Maybe Monards couldn't get enough Rolex in the models and quantities they wanted to sell, so they sourced "as new" models from other foreign sources.
As I said these are just rumours, I don't know for sure.
I went to Monards in Sydney today but waited until 10:40am and the shop remained closed, so I gave up, just wondering if Monards in Sydney has moved or gone out of business, I went to the shop at 90 Pitt Street?
