In general, I would agree, but not this time; The OP posted his dress criteria:
"mostly dressed in business casual, while still wearing a suit and tie sometimes..." and did post very good wrist-shots of how both watches wear on him. I think it's very fair (even nice) to ask a bunch of Rolex nerds/watch nerds/WIS for an opinion if you want an outside viewpoint.
