Ceramic did NOT even last a year .

If you had just smacked it with a hammer on the first day you would have found out about one shortcoming of this material right then.
It is only a piece of ceramic and if you read any of the reports about this material you will find out that it is highly scratch resistant but B-r-i-t-t-l-e.
No need to tell lies, take it to Rolex and just show them the damage.
IMO That is all you are obliged to do.
