Hmmm, I didn't realize that the 3861 had undergone so many changes compared to the 1861. Stop seconds when the crown is pulled, increased power reserve, coaxial escapement (if you like that), Si14 balance spring, the list goes on. Aesthetically it's nicer too if you get a model with a sapphire case back, which would be particularly cool if they redid the combination with a hesalite crystal rather than the current sapphire sandwich.

I'll be keeping my current hesalite Speedy. But if I didn't own one yet, I'd be inclined to wait for the updated version to be released with pricing info.
