I have asked him to confirm this and he states that it is correct and that he owns another Tudor with a 5 digit serial number as well. Is it possible that this is the correct serial number? Looking at the serial number list, it looks like all Tudor serial numbers have 6 digits or 6 digits and a letter. Any help would be useful. Thanks -Jeremy (absolut422@aol.com)
Yes, tudor has issued 5-digit serial numbers. According to my archive, the firtst they used the 5-digit serial is back to around 1940's or so. The another time they used 5 which is around 1984.
