Nothing Rolex currently makes is a patch on these. This doesn't appear to be changing for the foreseeable and modern equivalents being released seem to be the trigger for the price spike. This jubilee stuff has all been done before, even better. I've said it before - short of dropping the maxicase nothing will curb 5 digit demand. They're a sexier watch. Jubilee, Oyster, Pepsi or coke it doesn't matter!
