What I can tell you is that the new movement kind of sucks for this price point. I have the 1392 and have had the 682. I have also had the 973 and the 683 - both the newer non-in house movement and they both were not great. No quick set hour, the minute hand often jumped when resetting time and pushing crown back in, both ran at about +11 and neither were very impressive for the money. Sold both the 973 and 683; the in-house P9000 on the 1392 and 682 has been perfection (but be prepared for a loud rotor).
