Went to the following:
-Buffalo Trace
-Woodford Reserve
-Wild Turkey
-Jim Beam
-Willett
-Makers Mark

Hands down the best overall (interactive) tour was Jim Beam. Get to lick the "white dog" from the still, and single barrel Knob Creek from an open barrell...for the same price in the gift shop you can participate in the Knob Creek bottling process of your own KC bottle, fingerprint the wax seal and also have optional laser engraving.

Second would be Woodford...that place is just the most refined and up scale, and a great tasting room experience.

I also really enjoyed Buffalo Trace because its so expansive and take you through their Blanton bottling line.

I posted some pics in the whiskey thread here:

Where ever you end up, it'll be great.

Appreciate the input! Except for spending hours in the car with Chad I'm starting to get excited about the trip!
