I went with a bespoke shark leather with a factory Seiko deployant for my zero three three. I suspect the zero one seven would nice on an u9scale band.

We are on the same page regarding the perfect 2 Seiko watches collection. Although I also have a Pogue that I love to wear during sunny days :)
Saw your 033 on the shark leather strap with the deployant (I think), and I liked it. But as for me these watches are meant to be worn during vacations and weekend, I think I will stick to tropics, chocolate bands and tire tracks straps. We'll see if that changes in the future, but my 017 has been alternating between the bracelet and the tropic for the past 2 years.
