No, it didn't feel massive. The strap is great and it sits lower on the wrist than some similar watches as you can see from the side shot. I tried the dark side of the moon a few times and found that too thick but this is a little slimmer. Can't recall the exact dimensions but believe it is a couple of mm at least due to a less pronounced case back.
