I always do this also and then once at my bank move from checking to savings and leave nothing in checking in case they can initiate a pull back from my bank.
However, last sale I made a few weeks ago they put a hold on the money - apparently they do this now more often with higher priced sales and won't let you transfer to your bank (hold is for 30 days) but they release within a few days of delivery (mine was release 3 days after it showed delivered) or if the buyer leaves good feedback, so watch out for that.
