I’m also really warming up to Oris as a brand. They have a nice long history, and they withstood the Swatch takeover and subsequent butchering of the company to re-emerge as a brand that offers up quality watches accessible to a wider audience.

You succinctly and articulately describe what drew me to the brand. Great watch, solid value, and a very colorful history, including some near brushes with death as a company.
