Was that the crash where the pilot locked the co-pilot out of the cockpit during flight?
And then flew the plan into terrain?

If so, there is no protection against such outliers.

I agree there are many exploits and trust is paramount. But would you agree that starting up any commercial plane (which always have co-pilots) should require 2 codes to initiate the startup process? I can’t see a downside to that.
