Tough choice - two GREAT - yet different pieces.

I would say it depends what you're looking to get out of it, and what style you prefer.

Or --- you could just get the one your wife likes!!!

15400 - GREAT everyday piece. Classic AP iconic design all around. And you get the iconic RO bracelet. What more do I need to say.

15710 - another great everyday all around piece. (I've done it) a little more casual than the 15400 but still remains versatile. One of the best in the Offshore line and it maintains a lot of the aesthetics of the RO ---

That probably doesn't help. So--- looking at what you have in your collection -- I would go with the 15400. You've got the sport watches pretty much covered (not that the 15400 isn't sporty!) but gives you a slightly dressier option - with the iconic RO style.
