I know Rolex is on fire right now but on this particular watch you better ask for a discount, unless you just want to flush 20k down the toilet. Doesn't matter if your ever going to sell or not, this watch can be had for way under MSRP on the second hand market. If it was me, I'd politely tell them you want to purchase, but you'd need a solid discount to pull the trigger. If they decline, move on to the next. If they offer something small, then I'd lay my cards on the table and say this is what I need to get this done today. Never hurts to try, ever. Whats the worst that could happen? They say no? As long as your not demanding or acting entitled to it you have nothing to lose. Its one heck of a piece so enjoy the whole experience.
