Start with a Rolex GMT... then later a nautilus, or aquanaut is much more interesting or a royal oak, or a RM, etc.
At the beginning, there is no way i thought a Nautilus was an appealing design, later it was. My 5524 is one of my favorites because its weird.

Agree with that. The first time I saw a 5711 about 20 years ago, I didn't give it a second glance. I struck me as interesting, but didn't resonate. Now I think it one of the most striking watches I've ever seen.
