They are not badly made watches actually and some of the designs are quite appealing. However the negatives are that the BBs are very derivative, esp of the ROOs, they generally used an ETA, and so charged extortionate prices, and became too intertwined with fashion and celebrity sort of like a super expensive Gucci watch. They are working to change that but the old image still sticks alas.
