i don't think they are "bad" they are less than AP, not that there is anything inherently wrong with that. Its Hublot's insistence on being on the level of AP that turns so many off. The best analogy i can think of for Hublot is
Tudor:Rolex :: Hublot:AP.
All fine watches and each have their place, but each although similar are not on the same level. No one thinks Tudor is on a Rolex level and no one should think Hublot is on an AP level despite what Hublot tries to make people think.
