I started in high end watches about 17 years ago with a Breitling colt and loved it. Was finally able to find a Rolex DJ that was in my price range (20yrs old) that was pretty basic but had the oyster bracelet that I like vs. the jubilee. Wore it for several years and replaced the silver dial with a nice off white jubilee dial with Arabic markers and I loved it. Had it for many more years but sold it and made some cash on it. I regret it every day. I finally just bought a polar 216750 and will keep it forever. Most likely pass it on to my son when he’s ready for it. If you have an attachment to it being your first. Keep it.
