I'm hoping that the obsession with being totally connected and having to own every new piece of technology is a trend that will eventually subside. We already have PCs and lap tops and tablets and cell phones. Do we really need another gadget on our wrist? At what point do we have technology overload? Plus, one night forgetting to charge it and it's worthless. I live and work in the Silicon Valley and I'm seeing iWatches everywhere. They all look the same. All you see is a black screen. I wear mechanical watches because, like clothes, or shoes, or even tattoos, they show your creativity and individuality.
