I'm sorry to hear you had a bad initial experience with a Ball watch. I have owned three and loved the quality and precision of them all. Unfortunately your first entry into the brand you found a lemon. I'm sure some Rolex owners found one lemon somewhere in the bunch but did not give up on the brand. Write off that one watch and try another. After all, it had an ETA 2824-2 in it NOT a Ball In-house movement.
