Maybe there is something different with the pins because the 979 is a Carbotech model?
I don’t think it has a the quick strap change buttons on the underside of the lugs, so I’m not surprised it didn’t come with the two-piece tool Bert shows above….
(Setting aside this question, the 979 looks really cool. Congrats!)
