I’m generally not a fan of ceramic bezels, but I’ve owned several 45.5mm Planet Ocean models, including a few 8500 series. I found them just a bit too large and heavy for my taste (I’m a big guy and have 8” wrists) but I’m attracted to the design.

I recently picked up a black dial 8900 series PO in the new 43.5mm size. It’s perfect and I find it the best looking PO I’ve owned. The polished ceramic dial works well with the Liquidmetal bezel and it’s lovely. This size is also ideal, being small enough to comfortably wear with a suit and still having good presence.
