Icon5 1950s Tudor Oyster - Blank Caseback

Evening/Morning/Afternoon All! I've been lurking on these forms for a little while, apologies for my first post being a question :)

The majority of 1950s Tudor watches that I have seen have had a model number along with the other caseback reference. Is there a reason as to why some are completely blank?
